Dr. Rany Elsayed is the founder and CEO of Ieros Investments LLC, established in 2013, where he leverages over two decades of experience in equity and options trading. With a robust academic foundation, Dr. Elsayed holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Cairo University and earned his Ph.D. in Engineering and Physics from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to his transition into the financial sector, Dr. Elsayed served as a faculty member at Cairo University, where he was engaged in both teaching and research. His academic career contributed to his deep-rooted expertise in advanced mathematics, statistical modeling, and regression analysis.

At Intel Corporation, he played a pivotal role in driving innovation in advanced semiconductor technologies since 2004, with an initial focus on nano-interconnect and nano-lithography. Over the course of his career, he advanced through progressively senior technical and leadership positions, ultimately becoming a Principal Engineer and the Director of Power, Performance, and Binsplit Modeling for Intel Xeon and AI Accelerator products. His contributions bridged cutting-edge research with practical engineering implementation, shaping the technological roadmap for some of Intel’s most critical products.

Dr. Elsayed has authored more than 20 published papers across peer-reviewed journals and industry periodicals, and he is currently working on a forthcoming book scheduled for release in 2026. His work has earned him numerous accolades in the semiconductor industry, including the highest award in statistical analysis from Intel Corporation. His technical talents were recognized early, when he was named “Best Programmer in the Middle East” by PC Magazine during his undergraduate studies. With a strong foundation in scientific rigor and quantitative analysis, Dr. Elsayed brings a data-driven and disciplined approach to financial markets, integrating statistical sophistication with strategic trading insight.
